Managing Crews and Dispatch

StumpIQ's crew management system helps you assign the right crew to the right job.

Crew status tracking:

  • Active: Currently working a job site
  • En Route: Traveling to the next job
  • On Break: Scheduled break period
  • Off Duty: Not scheduled today
  • Standby: Available for emergency dispatch

  • Dispatching best practices:

  • Review today's schedule for unassigned jobs
  • Match crew certifications to job requirements (line-clearance, TRAQ, CDL)
  • Consider crew proximity to minimize drive time
  • Keep 15-20% capacity unscheduled for emergency calls
  • Assign the largest job first as the "anchor," then fill smaller jobs around it

  • Certification matching: ANSI Z133 requires line-clearance qualified workers near energized conductors. ISA Certified Arborists should handle health assessments. Match certifications to job requirements on every dispatch.
