How to Use the AI Assistant

The StumpIQ AI assistant is available on every page via the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner. You can also open it with Cmd+J (Mac) or Ctrl+J (Windows).


What the AI can help with:

  • Check crew status, job schedules, and equipment availability
  • Look up customer information and job history
  • Answer arboriculture questions (species ID, tree health, pruning timing)
  • Explain any tool or feature on the platform
  • Provide safety guidance and ANSI Z133 requirements
  • Help you build estimates and optimize scheduling

    • Tips for getting the best answers:

  • Be specific about what you need (e.g., "Which crews are available for an emergency removal?")
  • Mention the dashboard page you're on if your question is about data on screen
  • Ask follow-up questions — the AI remembers your conversation within the session

    • Important: The AI provides general operational guidance. Always hire ISA Certified Arborists for risk assessments and follow ANSI Z133 safety standards on every job.
